American Sycamore limits our class sizes to assure our students the room, the equipment, and the attention they deserve. Considering student to teacher ratio is to everyone’s advantage as well as the instructor.

With the smaller class size the students are able to fill their note books with shop tips, and photograph their progress and return home with a completed piece of furniture.

Cost of attending…

At American Sycamore there are NO hidden cost. Our class prices include tuition, all lumber, materials, and supplies needed to build your project. We know that you have a busy schedule with little time to make arrangements for wood ordering, milling and delivery. So we make it easy by having all that you need waiting for your arrival.

Instructors

American Sycamore carefully selects our instructors on their teaching ability, their personality, and their craftsmanship. Our instructors bring years of on the job learning and real life experience to the bench and to the classroom.

The Workshop
American Sycamore is proud to be the national training facility for Delta and Porter-Cable tools. Our shop is a sea of Delta grey cast iron. Each student has his/her own workbench and plenty of space.
